In-Person Audition

Please bring my cell phone # with you in case of the unexpected: 925-979-8663 Please submit your Application Form before the day of your audiiton. The audition will take about 15 minutes and will consist of: 1. Warm-up vocalizes to explore your range. 2. Singing one verse of Silent Night, a cappella (or a folk song of your choice) Print the score that matches your voice part, found on the AUDITIONS page on the festival website. This score will have the song in the correct key for your voice. 3. Singing the 2 Requiem excerpt: #1 Requiem and #2 Kyrie, also found on the AUDITIONS page. We will use a recorded accompaniment which I will provide. 4. That’s it! You will not need to prepare a solo. You will not be asked to sight-read. . Just come prepared to sing your 3 passages.
